Steve Donohue started brewing in his apartment kitchen in college in December 1994. He quickly made the jump to professional brewing in July 1996 and has been brewing since. Steve completed the Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering course from the American Brewer’s Guild. He has brewed for Coast Range Brewing Co., Los Gatos Brewing Co., Stoddard’s Brewhouse and Eatery, Firehouse Grill & Brewery, and Hermitage Brewing Co. While at Firehouse, Steve won four consecutive medals at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Steve is a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas and The American Society of Brewing Chemists.
Mr. Clark has lived and worked in the Santa Clara Valley for over 25 years, and as an avid homebrewer he sought to give the area more of a presence on the craft beer map. Combining his business expertise with his love of craft beer, Tom helped launch Santa Clara Valley Brewing in 2012.
